The Belfast Festival at Queen’s: Tens of thousands of visitors attend this remarkable Festival in Belfast each year. It's the biggest Ireland has to offer and has something cultural and fun for every taste.  Select from Film Comedy, Music, Art and Film and exhibitions of all sorts. Its wise to book your Ireland Hotel in advance if you are planning to attend one of the bigger Irish Festivals

Londonderry Halloween Festival: Derry City hosts one of the world's largest Halloween parties each year.  Tens of thousands of visitors come from all over to participate and to witness this great Halloween event.  It has been described as Irelands answer to Mardi Gras.  Well worth a visit when you are holidaying in Ireland at that time of year.

St. Patrick’s festivals: What can we say about Saint Patrick's Day that hasn't been said before.  Not a lot.  This is one of the Worlds largest festivals, and parades take place all over the world.  If you can manage it, get to a St Patrick's Day parade in Dublin or some other Irish city.  Do remember that it's St. Patricks Day.. at a push - Paddy's Day, but Never Patti's Day.  That's a no-no!

Bloomsday Festival: Bloomsday in Dublin has become a hugely popular event each year as James Joyce fans from around the world come together to celebrate Ulysses and the life Joyce and all things Joycean.  It's held on 16 June in honour of Leopold Bloom, the hero of Ulysses. Irish Breakfasts, pints of Guinness and a tour of the city are all part and parcel of this great Dublin Festival.

Every City, Town and Village in Ireland has a festival of one size or another each year and you are sure to find one close to where you are staying.  Whether your taste is Opera or Film you will be well catered for with the likes of the Cork Film Festival, The Cork Jazz Festival, the Waterford Opera Festival, The Wexford Opera Festival.  Have fun and stay safe!
